Daily Intercession
FOR OUR SOLDIERS. Almighty God, Sovereign Ruler among nations, judging 'right, look down in mercy on all our soldiers exposed in our country's cause to the perils of battle. Remember, also, the defenders of' our Allies, and the brave hearts who refuse to be slaves. Give to leaders energy and skill and to all loyalty and devotedness. Inspire them tvilh that trust in Thee from which true courage springs. Support and encourage them amid all hardships and trials. Restrain all vindictive passions; . cover their heads in the hour of battle; maintain their strength and lead them to. victory. Grant that they and we may trust the Captain of our Salvation, that when the toils 'and strifes of earth are ended tve may enter into Thine eternal peace and rest; I through Jesus Christ our Lord. I
