CORDIAL BOTTLES.
TO TUB EDITOR. Sir,—ln reply to “ A Victim’s ” grievance concerning the refund of deposit on bottles charged by retailers, we wish to state that'’our goods are sold at uniform rates and in addition the bottles bear a fixed deposit rate. Such deposit is refunded by us or by the retailer. If your correspondent will supply tho name of the retailer referred to we will take steps to have the complaint rectified. Owing to the ever-increasing shortage of bottles in New Zealand wo would appreciate the help of retailers and consumers in protecting our bottles.—We are, etc., . . Lanes Limited. Thomsons Limited.
