'MESSIAH’-NEXT WEDNESDAY
The box plans arc now on view for the annual Dunedin performance of Handel’s masterpiece, ‘ Messiah,’ m the Town Hall next Wednesday night. On tins occasion tho Choral Society is collaborating with (he Oamaru Choral Society, and will be further assisted by members of the Royal Thinedm Male Choir, the Returned Soldiers’ Choir, and the Leech Lyric Choir. Mr Alfred Wnlmslev is lo conduct this splendid chorus and the 4YA Orchestra, and Dr V. K. Galway is to assist at tho organ, and the weightier portions of this majestic work should be beard to particular advantage. The soloists will be Madame Winnie Fraser, jfiss'.Joyce Ashlon. Mr Ora bam M’Kinlay, ami Mr t! u-se!l Lanrciisoii. Booking arrangements are advertised.
