GRAND MASTER INSTALLED PROVINCIAL G.M.S INVESTED [Per United Press Association,] AAGfiLLINGTON, November 27. ' With the dignified ceremonies peculiar to the craft, Mr C. L. AlacDiarmid, of Hamilton, at a largo gathering- of Freemasons in the Town Hall to-night was installed ns Grand Master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand. Installing the Grand Master was Mr C. J. Ronaldson, the immediate Past Grand Master. Mr Charles Flavell, of Christchurch, was invested and inducted as Deputy Grand Master by the Governor-General, Viscount Galway, a Past Grand Master. Provincial Grand Masters were announced by the Grand Master and invested as follows: Mr C. S. Thompson, Canterbury province; Mr Oliver Nicholson, Auckland district; Mr J. H. Jerram, Wellington district; Mr J. A. Sparrow, Otago district; Mr A. Noble, Southland district; Mr A. AV. Parkinson, Hawke’s Bay district; Air H. Campbell, West Coast district; Air W. G. Rudd, Nelson and Atari bo rough district; Air J. C. Barclay, Taranaki district; Air J. A. Nash, Ruapehu district. Air A. AV. Chapman (Alasterton) was appointed Assistant Provincial Grand Master. Professor B. K. Murphy (AVcliington). was appointed the Senior Grand AA 7 ardcn, and Air .1. R. Dreavcr, of Dunedin, the Junior Grand AA 7 arden. The following Grand Lecturers were appointed: Afossrs R. B. Cape-AVilliam-son (Christchurch), A. B. Crokcr (AVellineton), R. C. Rutherford (Dunedin), and AV. A AA’ators (Palmerston North).
