FORMAL CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION 1 Fe» United Piiess Association.) WELLINGTON, July 20. The cancellation of the registration of the Otahuhu Chemical 'Manure Workers’ Industrial Union of Workers tv as formally announced in a notice contained in to-night’s ‘Gazette-’ It is further stated that the northern industrial district chemical manure workers’ award dated October 17, 1935, is deemed to be cancelled upon the cancellation of the industrial union named in the above notice. AUCKLAND, July 20. A resolution to spare no effort to raise funds for the help of the 'Westfield chemical workers while they are on strike was passed at a meeting of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Federation of Labour in the Trades Hall to-night. The meeting did not discuss the union’s decision to ,ask for ch-registration, the secretary stating that this was a purely domestic matter, in which the branch could not go beyond making the gesture implied by its resolution.
