ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT SHOWROOM REPORT TO CIW COUNCIL The electric power and lighting department of the City Council will report as follows to the meeting of the council on Tuesday night “ The city treasurer’s statement of the trading of the electric department’s showroom in Princes street for the -year ended March 31 last is laid on the table for the information of council. The statement discloses a loss of £073 16s for the year.” The committee will also report:— “Nine applications have been received for the position of lady demonstrator at the council’s electric showroom , in Princes street. The applications have been referred to a sub-committee consisting of the chairman (Cr D. C. Cameron), Cr M. C. Henderson, and the showroom manager, to consider same and select three names for submission to council.”
