Moore, secretary of the University Boxing Club, advised that iti had''been decided to-run two University tournaments this year—a novice, tournament on Monday, July 18, and the interfaculty tournament on Monday, August I—and the association’s permission was sought for the staging of these tournaments, this being granted. The hon. secretary of the Dunedin Training College Boxing Club (Mr; J. G. Johnston) applied for permission to hold a trv-out tournament at Marama Hall on iday 31.—The application was granted, and the appointment of officials , was, held over until the next meeting. The Secretary of the Balclutha Amateur Swimming Club’s Queen Carnival Committee wrote asking for the association’s assistance in arranging a boxing tournament and stating that the co-operation of the Kaitangata Club was also being sought.
