CREW SERIOUSLY INJURED.

LONDON, February 27. The plane with the robot pilot crashed at Croydon while undergoing its final* test flight. Three of the crew were seriously- injured. Mr Macarthur Onslow was not aboard.
. [A previous message read as follows:—‘Reynold’s News’ says a plane with one human and one robot pilot will take off from Croydon for Australia as soon as the weather conditions are favourable. The plane is the result of over two years’ experiment. Th© robot apparatus is capable of flying the machine on a set course, correcting wind drift or tendency to stall. The pilot with the machine will bo Mr A. W- M‘Arthur Onslow.]
