LISTENERS WELL INFORMED Listeners have been kept well informed Of the results of the various events in the Empire Games at Sydney this week. .On several occasions the National Broadcasting Service’s stations have carried out rebroadcasts pf descriptions from Sydney, and in other cases have kept in touch with all sources for the : latest information concerning the ■Games. ’ 'All sections of the Games were ' covered by broadcasts from 2BL and 2FO, and sometimes from VLB. Descriptions of most of the events were given through one or'other of .the two 1 broadcast stations,' a special team of commentators being selected to handle the commentaries. Summaries and re- • suits were also given twice each, evening. '
