GERMAN FRONTIERS NOT CLOSED.

LONDON, February 10.—The British United i’re-s correspondent in Berlin says it is officially denied that the German frontiers are being dosed. In a message from Warsaw the 1 Daily Telegraph’s ’ correspondent says the newspapers give prominence to stories of revolts among the German garrisons near the Gcrmau-Polish frontier, but the reports are not confirmed. TERRIFIC SPEED. LONDON. February 10.—A record speed of approximately 409 miles an hour for a landiplane flight after dark was achieved by a uew R.A.F. hurricane fighter aeroplane, which flow from Edinburgh to London in 4Smin. This is the first time that any aeroplane has travelled a t a rate of 300 miles or over after dark. The fastest speed of any land machine of this type was 379 miles an hour, established by Captain Wurster at Munich on Novem-. her 11 last.
