GOVERNMENT AID SDNfiHT [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 10. A sympathetic hearing was given by the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Parry) to representations by a deputation from tho Bgmont National Park Board! He undertook to consider giving the board permission to hold a district art union in order that it might meet its liabilities, and hinted at the possibility of taking legislative acton to prevent the breeding of goats which was causing destruction in the bush. , , „ Tho deputation asked for assistance in the payment of the final debt on tho Plateau road to the ski-ing grounds, 4,000 ft up, and also requested the Government to assist the Dawson Falls Committee to pay the £2OO incurred in replacing the electric JighS plant destroyed by flood.
