PROVISION IN NEW SOUTH WALES Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrighl SYDNEY, August 9. The New South Wales Cabinet, which is considering the question of resuming immigration, has agreed to pay 3s 6d a week for the maintenance of each child under 14 who comes, to the Stata under the Fairbridge farm scheme. The Commonwealth Government agreed to pay a like amount. The British Government’s contribution is approximately 5s a week. Proposals are also under consideration for similar assistance to children of 14 years who come to the State under the Barnardo plan.
