HOTEL DESTROYED
SHEPHERD BURKED TD DEATH (Per United Press Association.] OAMARU, August 9. Fire early this morning demolished the Railway Hotel, Kurow, an old 30roomed building owned by the estate of J. Greer. The licensee was a Mr M'Kitterick. David Alexander Robertson (24), a single man, employed as a shepherd, was burned to death. His .relatives reside at Oamaru. The building was insured for £2,000, anl the furniture for £1,500.
