OBITUARY
MU CECIL DUFF Mr Cecil Duff, a former resident of Dunedin, died at Hastings on June 18 He was born at Waitahuna 06 years ago, and received his early education in Edievalc. and later studied law in Dunedin. He practised his profession at Stratford and Napier before taking up permanent residence in Hastings. During the past 20 years he had taken a great interest m the affairs of tne town and district, and filled many pub-lic-offices Mr Duff was a brother of Mr Oliver Duff, who was for lornyears editor of the Christchurch < p ress > arK i of Mr John Duff, formerly a nrominent official in the transport department of the New Zealand Railways at .Wellington. He is survived by a widow, and two daughters.
