FRENCH ASSURANCES
SATISFACTION IN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, December 6. (Received December 7, at noon.) The spontaneity and completeness of the assurances given by M. Delbos that all the forces of France by land, sea, and air would immediately be used for the defence of Britain against unprovoked aggression were received here with great satisfaction. It is noted that full definition of the French _ attitude by M. Delbos, like that offered in regard to the British attitude by Mr Eden in recent speeches, is in accord with the March and that there is nothing exclusive in either statement.
