WEDDINGS

BUNGARD—FLYNN. A popular and pretty wedding was solemnised in St. Mary’s Church, Port OliiHmers. on June 3 by Father ■ Monaghan. The bride was Nora, only daughter of the late Mr .1. Flynn and Mrs Flynn, Port Chalmers, and the bridegroom was James, youngest son of Mr and Mrs J. Bungard. Waihoia. Miss Hart was at the organ. The church was' beautifully decorated by the sisters. The bride, who wr/i escorted up the aisle hy her brother (Mr Robert Flynn), looked charming in a frock of white satin cut on slimming lines and flaring gracefully to ground length in front and sweeping into a long, rounded train.. The bodice was finished with a Medici collar trimmed with silver lame, and the sleeves, which were nicked at the shoulder's, fell loose to the wrist. Her long flowing tulle veil fell from a coronet of orange blossoms worn well hack on her dark hair. She wore silver shoes and carried- a shower bouquet of white roses and chrysanthemums. Miss Fdna Reeves and Miss Kathleen Flynn (niece of the bride) acted as bridesmaids, wearing frocks of white satin fashioned on similar lines to the bride. Their felt hats were of rich red, and they wore silver shoos. Red bouquets completed their outfits. Two, small train-bearers— Noeline Hornby (cousin of the bride) and Master Bobbie Flynn (nephew of the bride)—looked very sweet in white satin and bright red velvet sashes. They wore silver shoes. The little flower gir] carried a red posy. Mr Adam Bungard (brother of , the bridegrohm) was best man. The ushers were Messrs A. Craig and D. Millar. After the ceremony Mrs •T. Flynn entertained the guests at the Foresters’ Halt. She wore a navy blue coat apd hat to match. The bridegroom’s mother was also in navy blue, with accessories to match. Mr and Mrs J. Bungard left next morning on their honeymoon, the bride travelling in an attractive brown coat, with frock and hat to match.' Mr and Mrs J. Bungard will reside in Port Chalmers.
