BROADCASTING.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l often, wonder when we arc going to reach the limit in broadcasting. A B station last night put over the police ball. What with the announcer and a lady describing the dresses—lovelv, most beautiful, delightful, etc.—and a few birthday greetings thrown in it was tiresome to me. finder ordinary circumstances this same B station provides some very fine programmes, and there is no reason for it To depart from its usual practice and put descriptions such as these over the air.—l am, etc., Listener. June 16.
