The first Australian Soccer team to visit the Dominion for 13 years arrived by the Wanganella to-day, and was given a civic reception by the deputymayor (the Hon. Lee Martin). It will play three tests for the Soccer “ ashes,” at present held by- Australia, which were brought across the Tasman by the team in an elaborate casket. The first match is at Auckland on Saturday against the local representatives. There will be tests in Dunedin, Wellington, and Auckland.
