COLONEL P. T. OWEN Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, June 16. (Received June 17, at 1 a.m.) The death is announced' of Colonel Percy Thomas Owen, C.B.E. (Colonel Owen, who was 72 years of age, was inspector and Director-gene-ral of Works for the Commonwealth from 19U4 to 1922, and from 1922 to 1924 was Director-general of Works at Canberra. Ho retired in 1929.] MR ISAAC PATTERSON A Rcefton Press Association telegram records the death of Air Isaac Patterson, a well-known solicitor, after a short illness; aged 57.
