NAZI TERRORISM
NEW; WAVE IN DANZIG SIXTY PEOPLE IN HOSPITAL Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June 16. , (Received June 17, at 2 p.m.) The ‘ Daily Herald’s ’ Warsaw correspondent says that, owing to accounts of a new wave of Nazi terrorism, the Press urges Poland to restore order in Danzig, where many Social Democrats are imprisoned. Dr Spill, ex-President of the Diet, and Herr Pietsch, leader of the Union of German Disabled ex-Ser-vicemen, have been arrested for their own protection. A storm trooper was shot dead during an attack on the homo of the Socialist, Weisenthal. The Socialist’s entire family were arrested. Sixty people were sent to hospital after an attack by storm troopers on a Nationalist Party meeting, where many were beaten. One died in hospital.
