LADY BOWLERS
SEMI-FINALS OF RINKS The animal tournament' of the Otago Ladies’ Bowling Association entered into its final stages with the playing of the semi-final games of the rinks competition late this morning. The games were played on the association’s green at Logan Park, and resulted in exceptionally close finishes, especially in the semi-final between the Dunedin and the Caversham rinks. The latter club was represented in both the games, but was eliminated, the final this afternoon being contested between St. Kilda and Dunedin. The finaj of the pairs competitoin was also decided this afternoon. Results; — RINKS. SEMI-FINAL. Mesdames Higginson, Leedeu, Lister, and Adess (St. Kilda) 23, Mesdames Hamann, Forster, M‘Connell, and Warrington (Caversham) 20. Mesdames Williams, Porteous, Abbott, and Easton (Dunedin) 21, Mesdames Newton, Todd, Hanb, and Seymour (Caversham) 20.
