HITCHED HH> COMET TO A STAR Press Association —By Telegraph.—Copyright LONDON, March 30. T. Campbell Black, who, with C. W. A. Scott, won the Centenary Air Race, was married to-day to Miss Florence Desmond, the actress. During the reception at the Grosvenor Hotel, Sir Macpherson .Robertson toasted the couple’s happiness in the gold cup which was the prize in the Melbourne air race. Mr Black, in thanking Sir Macpherson Robertson, said it was the air race that brought him and Miss Desmond together and enabled him to hitch his- Comet to a star. „ _
The bride will appear in Mr C. B. Cochran’s review to-nigbt, after which she will attend a supper dance. Mr C. W. A. Scott, who is at present in the north, is expected to attend. The couple will f.y to Morocco for the honeymoon in the morning.
