RATEABLE VALUES

REPORT OF CITY VALUER The annual report of the city valuer for the year ending March 31 last show* that there was a decrease in the rateable value of the city by £12,662. The rateable value for 1933-34 was £1,110,283 and for 1934-35 was £1,097,621. The rateable value of “ non-rate-able ” propertv for 1933-34 was £130.600 and for 1934-35 was £131,262—an increase of £662.
