ROYAL MALE CHOIR
The Royal Dunedin Male Choir will present a concert at the Town Hall this evening. The choir offerings will be ‘ A Song to David,’ a recent composition by a Dunedin composer, Mr ,T. C. Easton, who has made a gift of hi* to the society; ‘ Sigh No Move, Ladies ’ (arranged by Dunhill); a brae* Ket of glees and folk songs, ‘ Cloudcapp’d Towers’ (Robertson); and it requested revival, ‘ Bobby Shaftoe ’ (arranged by Whittaker) ; ‘ The Rising Storm ’ (Neumann); ‘ Queen of the Night ’ (Smart); ‘ Calero Custure Me ’ (arranged by S. Taylor Harris), in which Messrs W. Fyfe and Cecil S. Hawes will be heard as soloists; and ‘ Song of the Bow ’ (Aylward). Mr W. Mills and Mr E. Bond will be the choir soloists, and the Neumann part song has a part for a double quartet. Miss Alison Tyrie will present solos by Saint-Saens and Schubert, and Miss Elvira Wycherley will be heard in Velio solos. The box plan'arrangements are advertised.
