ROYAL MALE CHOIR

On Monday next the Royal Dunedin Male Choir will present another of its popular concerts in the Town Hall. The choir offerings will be ‘ A Song to David,’ a recent composition by a Dunedin composer, Mr J. C. Easton, who lias made a gift of his work to the society; ‘ Sigh No More, Ladies ’ (arranged by Dunhill) ; a bracket of glees and folk songs, ‘ Cloud-capp’d Towers ’ (Robertson): ‘ Bobby Snaftoe ’ (arranged by Whittaker) ; ‘ The Rising Storm’ (Neumann); ‘Queen of the Night ’ (Smet) ; ‘ Oalero Cushne Me ’ (arranged by S. Taylor Harris), in which Messrs W. Fyfe and Cecil S. Hawes will be heard as soloists: and ‘O Song of the Bow’ (Aylujard). It will be seen that patrons are offered a programme of outstanding merit. Mr W. Mills and Mr E. Bond will be the choir soloists, and the Neumann part song has a part for a double quartet. Miss Alison Tyrie will present solos by Saint-Saens and Schubert, and Miss Elvira Wycherley will be heard in ’cello solos. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
