POINT-TO-POINT STEEPLECHASE
After the unfortunate postponement through adverse weather _ conditions the Otago Hunt Club will hold its annual point-to-point steeplechase meeting to-morrow afternoon at North Taieri on properties placed at the club’s disposal by Messrs D. Leishman, A. P. Gibson, and D. Connor. There will be six events, the first being timed to start at 2.15. An excellent steeplechase course has been arranged over practically all natural jumps, and there are events for both sexes. The public can obtain a splendid view of the course from the natural grand stand on the hillside. Afternoon tea will be obtainable. Corporation buses will leave for the grounds during the afternoon.
