HILDA RELIEF DEPOT At the last meeting of the committee of the Mayor’s Relief Depot, St. Kilda. it was decided that all orders for coal must definitely be lodged at the depot between 6.30 and 8.30 p.m. on Friday. The depot is in urgent need of men s clothing, and the residents of the borough are reminded that if they have any discarded clothing to dispose of a ring to phone 22-895 between a.m. and 1 p.m. any day this week will ensure that the parcel is picked up next Saturday afternoon, It has* been arranged that in future the secretary will be. in attendance at the depot for interviews during the following, hours Monday and Tuesday, 9 to .10 a.m., 4 to 4.30 p.m; Wednesday, 9 to 10 a.m, 4 to 4.30 p.m., and 7 to 8 p.m.. This has been done to relieve the mayor, who is in ill-health. All applications for relief to be dealt with by the committee must be in writing. The services or “ Omdah, the Mystic ” (illusionist and card manipulator) and supporting artists have been secured for next Sunday evening’s concert in aid of the depot* funds. ■ -
