ARBITRATION BEFORE STRIKES Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, February 3. (Received February 3, at 12.30 p.m.) By a majority of 9,695 votes members of the Australian; Workers’ Union throughout Australia voted for the union continuing to favour a policy-of arbitration in preference to strikes. The voting was: For arbitration 13,317, for strikes 3,622.
