EXCLUSION OF DXENHAM NO ACTUAL TESTS IN NEW ZEALAND Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE, February. 2. There is considerable indignation with regard to the omission of Ron Oxenham from the Australian team and the fact that no Queensland representative was chosen for the English tour. Hie < Courier 9 has arranged a testimonial to Oxenham, to which it invites public subscriptions in recognition of his services to Australian cricket. Oxenham is extremely disappointed at his non-inclusion. He admits that overtures were made to him by the Lancashire League, which he is not at present entertaining.
SYDNEY, February 2. Apropos of the itinerary Mr R. Oxlade, chairman of the Board of . Control, states that there will be no actual tests in New Zealand because the Australian first team is going to England, but a really good second team is touring New Zealand, and it will have one representative match at Dunedin, as cabled.
