MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSIONS

SYDNEY, January 31. (Received January 31, at 11.10 turn.) A remarkable subterranean explosion! lasting over an hour startled the residents of Gunning last night. There were about twenty-three shocks in twelve minutes. Crockery was broken and the population was more, alarmed than usual. Many people ' spent the night in the streets.
