Tender perfect weather conditions “ skeet ” matches were fired by the members of the Dunedin Gun Club at the club’s grounds, Green Island, on Saturday afternoon. Results:— Skeet Sweepstake (14 birds—one cartridge only).—C. Wilson (Tawanui) 13. C. E. Turner 11, E. P. Graham 10 A. Callaghan 10, R. Bruce 10, S. Gecldes 9, J. K. Begg 9, W. 11. Morland 7 were tho highest scorers. First sweepstake money went to C. Wilson and second money to G. E. Turner. Skeet Sweepstake.—C. Wilson (Tawanui) 12, G. E. Turner 11, S. Goddes 11, R. Bruco 11, R. M'Donald 10 A. Callaghan 10, J. E. Dow 10, \V.’ R. Morland 9, J. K. Begg 8 wore tho highest scorers. First money wont to C, Wilson and second money was divided between G. E. Turner, S. Geddes, and R. Bruce. In winning both “ skeet ” events, C. Wilson gavo an excellent exhibition of trapshooting under field conditions, and tho other members put up creditable performances in the second match. Tho afternoon was concluded with a six-bird sweepstake (ordinary trapshooting), and first money was divided between G. R. M'Kenzie (14yds) 6 breaks (all first barrel), and S. Geddes (16yds) 6 (4 first barrel). Most of the other members tallied 5 breaks each. Mr A. Adamson was referee.
