(Received September 16, at 10 a.m.) The Centenary Committee has been notified by the Commonwealth authorities that they are unable to release Sir Macpherson Robertson’s gift .of £IOO,OOO for the centenary celebrations and the air race from income tax, which is reported to be in the neighbourhood of £40,000.
