RUGBY LEAGUE
A meeting of the Otago Rugby Football League Executive was held last evening. Mr T. M. Gillies presided. The application of R. Atkinson for a transfer from the Christian Brothers Club to the Atholtic Club was granted. Jt was reported that club captains had spoken to players in regard to rough play, and the warning had borne fruit, as rough play was not in evidence in last Saturday’s games. SATURDAY’S MATCHES. City v. Christian Brothers, at Oval (Mr G. Parker) ; Athletic v. Pacific, at Logan Park (Mr A. Townsend).
