LOCAL INSTITUTIONS BENEFIT The late Mr Edwin Booth, probate of whose will was granted to-day, has left his gramophone, cabinet, and records, and his Bremner-Tully wireless set to tho Presbyterian Ross Home at North-east Valley. Pecuniary legacies were also left as follows: — £IOO to the Dunedin Orphans’ Club. £IOO to St. Mary’s Orphanage. £IOO to the clergy fund of the Church of England. £IOO to the Presbyterian Social Service Association for the Ross Home. £IOO to the Salvation Army for general purposes. £IOO to the Dunedin Diocesan Trust Board for the Anglican Memorial Home for Boys at Anderson’s Bay. £IOO to the Dunedin Diocesan Trust Board for the Men’s Mission House. OAMARU ESTATE. Under the terms of the will of the late Catherine Winifred Wise, of Oamaru, a bequest of £IOO is made to the Dominican Sisters of tho Rosary Convent, Oamaru, for educational purposes. The will also provides that on the termination of several life interests a bequest of £2,000 is to be made to tho Christian Brothers’ St. Kevin’s College, Redcastle, Oamaru, for the erection of a chapel; and that the remainder of the estate is to be divided equally among St. Kevin’s College for educational purposes; tho order of Dominican Sisters, Oamaru, for educational purposes; the Little Sisters of the Poor, Anderson’s Bay, Dunedin, for the support and maintenance of the home for the aged and needy; and to the Sisters of Mercy, South Dunedin, for the support and maintenance of two orphanages carried on at Dunedin.
