FALSIFIED MINUTES A NEWFOUNDLAND SENSATION. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. ST. JOHNS (Newfoundland), February 24. The Assembly to-day voted to send an address to the Governor _ (Sir John Middleton) asking him to inquire into charges made against the Premier (Sir llichard Squires) by Mr Peter Gaskin, a former Minister of Finance and Customs, which included allegations that the Premier falsified the minutes of the council in order to facilitate manipulation of the public funds.
