Mr J. B. Stewart, of Dunedin, who for eleven years has been manager of the Union Bank of Australia at Geraldine, has been appointed manager of the bank at Feilding. A large at-, tendance of citizens representative of the town of Geraldine and district, met to express their high regard of Mr Stewart, who was actively connected with many institutions working for tho welfare or the people and district.
