PHAR LAP
NEW YORK, January 27. A message from Agua Caliente states that the track is in excellent condition. Phar Lap arrived at the race track today after a two-day trip in a motor van from San Francisco. A large crowd was present when Phar Lap was unloaded and taken to the stables, where extra guards were placed on duty immediately. A lead of special feed which was brought from Australia accompanied the horse.
