WELLINGTON, December 30.
Phar Lap sailed yesterday by the Monowai. On arrival at San Francisco on Ja nil ary 15 tlio horse will be taken into open country as soon as possible, and will bo rested for a week or ten days before the final stage of bis journey to Agua Caliente. It is hoped to have him in Mexico for about seven weeks before the big race.
