The Berlin correspondent of the New 1 , York ‘Times ’ says that an appeal by, the Peace League of German Catholics, bearing the signatures of the German Hierarchy, calls for a plebiscite in support of disaianament. Every German Catholic is asked to send to the league’s head office the following signed declaration not later than January 15: —“ Remembering the terrible war, and in view of the new arming madness and the new danger of war, we profess adherence to the will to peace and tha disarmament of our peoples.”
