The Waipahi, which came in last night from Gisborne via ports, was loading cargo to-day ready to sail at 11 p.m, for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gishorne. The Dpi hi is to load out hero on Thursday for Oamaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and Now Plymouth.

Tho Gale is due at Dunedin on Christmas Day from Bluff. B'ie will load cargo and sail next Monday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The John is fixed to load here next Monday for New Plymouth and Waikato via ports. NEW ZEALAND WITH OIL. : The Texas Oil Company’s tanker New Zealand arrived at Auckland from Los Angeles yesterday morning. She has bulk oil for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, aqd Australia, and is due here early next week. TAMAROA AT SOUTHAMPTON. The Shaw, Savill Tamaroa, which sailed from Auckland on November 14 for Southampton and London, arrived at Southampton on Thursday morning. WAIHEMO HERE CHRISTMAS DAY. The Waihomo, from the Pacific Coast via northern ports, is due at Dunedin on Christmas Day to unload cargo. She sails next Monday for Bluff. ARGUS AT, COLON. Holm and Co.’s new motor ship Argus, at present en route to New Zealand, was due at Colon on Thursday from Jamaica, after having made a trip round the West Indies. She is now due at Wellington about the end of January to take up tho running of the Progress in the Dunedin-Welling-ton-New Plymonth-Port Waikato service. PERSONAL. Captain Donald MacDonald took command of the Kartigi at Wellington on Thursday, relieving Captain J. Rankine for holiday leave. Mr J. B. Gibson lias joined the Knpouga as second officer, relieving Mr R. Ainsworth for holidays. Mr N. M. Bonetti has rejoined the Waimarino as chief officer after holiday leave. DANGER TO NAVIGATION.
