LADY CARROLL SHIELD MATCH The first match of the season for the Lady Carroll Shield was played at Dannevirke yesterday between Tamatea (Hastings), 'the challengers, and Dan-nevirko-Ruahine, the defenders. The latter team held the ascendancy throughout, and won by five goals to nil, scoring three goafs in the first spell and two in the second.
