LADIES’ BOWLING
TOURNAMENT CONCLUDES The ladies’ bowling tournament was brought to a conclusion on the Mornington green yesterday afternoon, when the final of the pairs competition was played. Mrs Easton met Mrs Hcenan in the final, and at the end of the third head was G up. The scores were even at the sixth and eighth heads. A 6 to Mrs Easton, followed by a succession of small scores, gave her a big lead, and Mrs Heenan retired at the conclusion of the twentieth end, 11 down. Following is the result;— PAIRS COMPETITION. —Final.— Meslames Higgmson and Easton (Dunedin) 24, Mesdnmes Stephens and Heenan (Dunedin) 13.
