The weekly meeting of Hope of Dunedin Lodge, No. 155, J.0.G.T.. was Jield on Wednesday, 10th, in Good Templar Hall, Princes street. C.T. Pro, C. South presided. Correspondence was received from Bro. Trevithick. G.S.J.W., stating Ids intention of visiting Dunedin shortly. Bro. South, sen., reported that he had received his commission as L.D., and a hearty vote of thanks was passed to Bro. Allpress (retiring L.D.) for the efficient manner in which ho had carried out his duties while in that office. Arrangements are well in hand for the Anzac service on the 24th. A report was received that the services ot Mr Morice had again been secured as bugler. A favourable report was given on visit paid to All Nations Lodge, Port Chalmers. Bro Cromarty, C.T. of All Nations Lodge then received a hearty welcome, and suitably replied. A scheme is on foot to hold a queen carnival at some future date. Alter the business had concluded the lodge was dosed in the usual way, followed hy i competitions and games- The Silver j Star Juvenile Temple, No. 9. met the same evening, with S.J.W. Sister South, son., in charge. Preparations are being made for the juveniles’ concert to be held shortly. Bro. Cromarty addressed the children, after which the lodge was closed.
