SANDERS CUP CONTESTS. The proposals submitted by Mr J. Hislop, of Walker and Hall, Auckland, regarding the conditions of the sailing of the Sanders Memorial Cup contest were considered at a contorcnce of delegates from the Christchurch Sailing and Power Boat Club and the Canterbury Yacht and Motor Boat Club .Lyttelton) held at Christchurch. After discussion the association passed a motion on pi essjug disapproval of Mr Hislop’s scheme. [Mr Hislop’s scheme was to form a fund for the building of six boats by one builder, so as to obtain greater uniformity, the provinces to draw for boats when they were completed.]
