The annua! mooting of the Taien Croquet Club was held on Monday evening. The balance-sheet showed the dub to bo in a good financial positN.i. The following office-bearers wero elected President, Mrs Win. Allan; secretary, Mrs Currie; treasurer, Mrs Haig*; committee —Mosdames M'Pheat, Gibson, Walls, Armstrong, Wilson, Wedderspoon, Pringle, Wallace, Gordon; Social Committee Mesdames Swallow, Bell, and Miss Haig. Votes of thanks were passed to Mr A. Mitchell (auditor), Mr Butcher, and the Taicri bowlers.
