— 1 DUHEOIH DEFENCE CLUB The Dunedin Defence Rifle Club shot the first competition for prizes donated by Captain Proudfoot and Mr C. Speight on Saturday afternoon. Conditions were ten shots each at 300 and 600 yards. Variable wind and light made high scoring difficult. Following ore the highest scores— A GEADE.
