BRITISH GOVERNMENT’S PROPOSALS. (British Official News.) Press Association—By Wireless—Copyright RUGBY, January 26. At a meeting of the Council of Agriculture Mr Walter Guinness (Minister of Agriculture) stated that a scheme was being submitted to the poultry industry to provide for the grading of eggs, and probably also for marking them with a national mark. It was also proposed that preserved eggs should be marked so that they could be recognised. If the scheme were adopted he undertook to bring in the necessary legislation at a very early date.
