The Belfast correspondent of ‘ The Limes ’ says that Dr D’Arcy, Primate 6f All Ireland, says it is startlingly glear that a successful outcome of the Malines movement would destroy the Protestant character of the Church of England, and completely alter the position of all the churches in connection therewith, “The Church of Ireland trill have nothing to do with the Mali nes negotiations,” declares the Priinate. “History will show' that the English people, while tolerant and felow to move, will never surrender their freedom or bend their necks beneath Spiritual despotism.— ‘ The Times.’
