'UP IN MABEL’S ROOM'
HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE TO-MORROW
Laughter ami sunshine are said to be the two best cures for all the ills and cares of mankind. Mr W. J. C. Barr apparently had this in mind when he formed the company of comedians to open at His Majesty’s Theatre to-mor-row in the three-act farcical comedy, ‘Up in Mabel’s Room.’ Two farces will be presented during the season in Dunedin—‘ Up in Mabel’s Room ’ and ‘ Oh, Richard, How Could You?’ They are rollicking farces, and are so full of laughs that they have been described as r ‘ one long laugh.” The company was specially selected, and is headed by Miss Zara Clinton, a talented actress from America; Mr Billy O’Hanlon, a youthful comedian well known in the leading London theatres; Mr Brandon Cremor, a popular Australian actor; Mr Eric Harrison, an English actor of high standing; Messrs Jack Beattie and Thomas- M'Dermott; Misses Hilda Attention), Grade Williams, and Sybil Atholwood. This company has. just completed a tour of the principal Australian cities, and the Press in each acclaimed it as a boon to theatregoers with the bright and cheerful plays presented. The box plans are open.
