WAITAII WINS DOTH GAMES When the cricket match between 1 the High Schools from Otago and Waitaki was re-. • sinned yesterday afternoon, the south-west wind, which prevailed in the morning, continued to sweep across th- wound. As a -result some good bowling averages were secured; but, apart from the 51 scored by Maloney, there was no outstanding performance recorded with the bat. The Waitaki High School won both games, the senior by eight wickets, and junior by four wickets. The umpires for the first elevens were Messrs D. and S. Allan, and for the second elevens Messrs E.
